Algarve Beach Life Diaries

I thought I'd check out what's on in Algarve, as I'm gearing up to move over there, and I'm going to need some cultural fall-backs to take my mind off all the stuff there'll be to do! There's lots of painting exhibitions, as usual...

If you're in or around Portimao, you can see a paintings exhibition, "Impresses", at EMARP, Rua José António Marques, weekdays from 0800 to 1700. There's lots of other stuff to do in Portimao, as you can discover at my dedicated Portimao page.

Elsewhere, I notice that British artist David Haines crops up at a number of venues, so you should have a good chance of seeing his stuff wherever you are staying! Here are your choices:

I should mention that some of David's work that I've seen could be described as 'challenging', so watch out if you're easily offended by artistic images...
